Some armed policemen in the early hours of Thursday stormed the residence of the former Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission, Joi Nunieh, in PortHarcourt, Rivers State.
First News learnt that the policemen arrived at Nunieh’s Port Harcourt home at about 4a.m. on Thursday and have since remained in the location.
The former NDDC acting managing director was scheduled to be in Abuja on Thursday (today) to appear before the House of Representatives committee probing the alleged corruption scandal rocking the Commission in the past few months.
