Nigeria Centre for Disease Control said Nigeria recorded 17 new COVID-19 infections as of June 15.
A report made available on NCDC verified website on Wednesday morning, indicated that 11 states had zero cases. The states are Plateau, Nasarawa, Cross River, Imo, Kano, Bauchi, Kaduna, Sokoto, Oyo, Ondo and Ekiti States.
The report said that the 17 new cases were from three states of Lagos, which recorded 13, Rivers 3, and Gombe 1.
NCDC said Nigeria had tested a total of 2,231,409 persons since the first confirmed case relating to the COVID-19 was announced in February 27, 2020.
It noted that a total of 167,095 had been reported in the country with 163,483 recoveries recorded as of June 15.
The public health agency said no additional new deaths were registered in the country in the last 24 hours.
It added that a multi-sectoral national Emergency Operations Centre, activated at Level 2, had continued to coordinate the national response activities.
