Ex-Aviation Minister Sirika, others to be arraigned Thursday over alleged N2.7bn fraud

In a significant development, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is poised to arraign former Aviation Minister, Hadi Sirika, before Justice Sylvanus Oriji of the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Maitama, on Thursday.

This move comes as Sirika, who served during the tenure of former President Muhammadu Buhari, faces a six-count amended charge.

Joining him in the arraignment are his daughter, Fatima, along with Jalal Hamma and Al-Duraq Investment Ltd.

The charges stem from allegations of abuse of office, amounting to a staggering N2.7 billion.
