Popular Nigerian singer David Adeleke, better known as Davido, appears to have quietly resolved his legal dispute with former Nigeria Football Federation President, Amaju Pinnick.
This development emerged just a few hours before the singer’s wedding.
Recall that Pinnick had filed a N2.3 billion breach of contract lawsuit against Davido on the 31st of October, 2023, after the singer failed to perform at the 19th edition of the ‘Warri Again’ event which was held on the 6th of October, 2023.
In a surprising turn of events, Davido and his wife, Chioma, were seen in a video at Pinnick’s house shortly before the wedding.
Pinnick’s wife, Julie Pinnick, however, shared the video on her TikTok, highlighting the power of love in fostering reconciliation.
“David and Chioma came to our house to personally invite my family to their marriage ceremony. I was thrilled to meet Chioma for the first time; she is such a beautiful girl.
“Let love lead. Wishing Davido and Chioma a beautiful future together forever.” she wrote.
Two weeks ago, the singer announced that he and Chioma would be getting married on the 25th of June, 2024, in Lagos, Nigeria.
