…buried with fanfare in Church’s international headquarters
The remains of the late Spiritual Father, Supreme Head and Chairman of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide, Ayo Ni o, Baba Aladura Most Reverend (Prophet) Samuel Adefila Abidoye, were on Saturday buried at the church’s International Headquarters in Orile-Igbon, Oyo State, amid fanfare and celebrations.
Baba Aladura Abidoye died in November 2023 at the age of 103 years, after about 18 years of meritorious and unprecedented service to the Church.
The event was also graced by hundreds of thousands of church members, renowned Christian leaders from across the world, including Bishop David Oyedepo of the Living Faith Church; the Supreme Head of the C&S Unification, Baba Aladura Solomon Alao; Baba Aladura of the Moitallatu C&S Church, Dr Israel Akinadewo; Reverend Mother Esther Abimbola Ajayi of the Love of Christ Church and several other religious leaders and dignitaries from all walks of life; representatives of state governors and Governments.
At the wake keep programme held on Friday for the late Baba Aladura Abidoye at the CSMC International Headquarters, Orile-Igbon, all the Christian leaders and other dignitaries present extolled the virtues of the late cleric and praised him for all the laudable achievements the church recorded during his reign as the Spiritual Father, particularly the spiritual growth and physical development witnessed witnessed by the CSMC Ayo Ni o all over the world as well as the legacies he has left behind.
Earlier on Friday, a commendation service was held for the late Baba Aladura Abidoye in his home town in Omu Aran, Kwara State.
For the commendation service, the late cleric’s remains were accompanied to his Omu Aran home town and back to the church’s International Headquarters in Galilee land, Orile Igbon, Oyo State, by 103 trumpeters, with each note echoing a year of his remarkable journey on earth.
On Saturday, President of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Most Reverend (Dr) Daniel Okoh delivered the message during the burial service programme for Baba Aladura Abidoye at the CSMC International Headquarters.
The CAN President spoke on the theme: “The Book of Life,” taken from Revelation 3:5.
The remains of the late Baba Aladura Abidoye were later on Saturday interned in his final resting place inside a freshly constructed multi-million Naira mausoleum in the church’s International Headquarters, Galilee land, Orile-Igbon, Oyo State.
