Nigerian music act, Damini Ogulu popularly called Burna Boy, aka Giant of Africa, will be performing at the 63rd Grammy Awards ceremony.
The event is slated for 14th of March, 2021.
The 63rd Grammy Awards premiere ceremony will be streamed live, it will feature performances by the Grammy nominees, the likes of Terri Lyne, Rufus Wainwright, Carrington + Social Science, Lido Pimienta, Poppy and a host of others.
The ceremony will be hosted by American singer, Jhené Aiko ― a three-time Grammy nominee.
According to the Academy, “All of the premiere ceremony performers and the host are nominated this year, as are most of the presenters.”
The Anybody crooner was nominated in the category for the ‘Best Global Music Album’ category for his ‘Twice As Tall’ album, which he released on 12th of August 2020.
However, this is Burna Boy’s second Grammy nomination after losing to the iconic Angelique Kidjo during the last ceremony.
