Podcast Saga: Yvonne Jegede criticises Nedu, calling him a ‘narcissistic, toxic man’

Popular Nollywood actress Yvonne Jegede has criticized her colleague and media personality, Chinudu Ani Emmanuel, also known as Nedu, for mocking her after she apologised to Yul Edochie’s first wife for endorsing his second marriage.

Recall that the role interpreter had issued the apology following her appearance on ‘The Honest Bunch’ podcast, co-hosted by Nedu, where she had initially supported Edochie’s controversial marriage.

After her public apology, Nedu took to Instagram to criticise her, writing, “If you talk, use your chest, stand by your words.”

The mother of one responded sharply via her Instagram account, suggesting that Nedu’s actions could confirm the rumors that he has a disdain for women.

“I understand Nedu’s difficulty in comprehending my apology.

“Narcissistic and toxic men like him cannot grasp the importance of apologising when others feel hurt by your actions, regardless of whether you believe you are right or wrong.

“Small-minded people like you rejoice when women attack each other or are trampled upon. Check the history of your podcast; it is filled with content targeting women’s self-esteem. Perhaps the rumor about you is true-you don’t like women. Nedu, there’s nothing wrong with women winning and shining; it doesn’t diminish you or any other man,” she wrote.
