Ahead of the October 10 election in Ondo State, the Independent National Electoral Commission, on Friday, released the list of governorship candidates and their deputies.
According to the list obtained via INEC’s Twitter handle, 17 political parties’ candidates and their running mates will feature in the election.
The parties include the ruling All Progressives Congress, the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party, and 15 other political parties.
The list, which also indicated the age of the candidates, their academic qualifications and their gender, also stated that none of the candidates is disabled.
APC candidate and incumbent Governor Rotimi Akeredolu with his PDP contender, Eyitayo Jegede, were included in the list.
