Drake becomes 1st artist to reach 100bn streams on Spotify

Popular Canadian singer and rapper Aubrey Drake Graham, fondly called Drake, has surpassed 100 billion streams on Spotify across all credits, making him the first artist in history to achieve this milestone, as announced by music monitoring company Chart Data via X on Tuesday night.

The singer has more than double the streams of the next closest rapper, Eminem.

The breakdown of Drake’s streams shows an average of 234 million streams per song and 5 billion streams per album.

Also, his most streamed song on the platform is his 2016 hit “One Dance,” featuring Nigerian Afrobeats singer Wizkid and British pop star Kyla, with 3.2 billion streams.

“One Dance” also holds the Guinness World Record as the first song to surpass 1 billion streams on Spotify.
