Popular Nigerian singer Temilade Openiyi, also known as Tems, recently shared insights into what it’s like to be romantically involved with her.
She likened dating her to discovering a rare species of flower.
In a conversation with actress Chinasa Anukam on the ‘Is This Seat Taken’ podcast, the singer elaborated that while her personality may not immediately charm from the outside, it holds inner beauty.
However, she cautioned that even the inner beauty has its complexities.
“Dating me is like stumbling upon a rare species of flower that looks black from the outside and when you open it, it has pink, purple but in the middle, there’s a stone,” she shared.
Tems has not been publicly known to be in any romantic relationship, however, during a recent interview with YouTuber Korty EO, Tems asserted that most men’s primary agenda in relationships is often limited to sex.
