The Proprietor and Chairman Board of Trustees, Crescent University, Abeokuta Prince Mahruf Adesegun Ajibola SAN has instituted a law college prize named ” Prize for Excellence in Character and Learning.”
The prize will be open to all students of the Bola Ajibola College of Law (BACOLAW) of the institution which prides itself as Citadel of Academic and Moral Excellence.
In a circular by the Dean of BACOLAW, Prof. Momodu Kassim-Momodu, the annual student prize “shall be known and described as Prince Mahruf Adesegun Ajibola Prize for Excellence in Character and Learning.
” The prize shall be open to all students of the College and criteria for selecting the winner shall include academic performance and character assessment during the academic session,”, the dean concluded.
Recall that Prince Adesegun Ajibola in his maiden address during the 15th Convocation of Crescent University had promised to sustain the high standards of institution after the passing away of his father, His Excellency Judge Bola Ajibola from whom he took over.
He said “I am glad to let you know that we have taken the responsibility to continue with his monumental legacies, with positive determination.
“We are to ensure that this institution continues to live up to its expectations and prayers of our founding father by keeping its gate open to all who seek knowledge irrespective of gender, race, tribe or creed”, the Proprietor had said.
