Alleged Sexual Assault: Howard University rescinds Diddy’s honorary degree

Howard University’s Board of Trustees unanimously voted to rescind the honorary degree awarded to Sean Combs, also known as Diddy, in light of numerous sexual assault allegations against him.

This decision comes after a video surfaced showing Diddy assaulting his ex-girlfriend, Cassie, in a hotel, actions deemed inconsistent with the university’s principles.

“The Howard University Board of Trustees voted unanimously today to accept the return by Mr. Sean Combs of the honorary degree conferred upon him in 2014,” a university spokesperson told Fox on Friday.

“This acceptance revokes all honors and privileges associated with the degree. Accordingly, the Board has directed that his name be removed from all documents listing honorary degree recipients of Howard University.”

Diddy, who attended Howard University but left after two years in 1990, was awarded an honorary doctorate and delivered the commencement address in 2014.
