The former Deputy National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Chief Bode George, on Wednesday, said that the National leader of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu lacked the qualification needed to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023.
He said that Tinubu has stolen humongous amounts of money from Lagos State.
George was reacting to a comment by former Minister of Works, Adeseye Ogunlewe, rating Tinubu as the best man to rule the country in 2023 after Buhari.
Ogunlewe, who spoke on a programme on Channels TV, had tipped Tinubu as the next president of the country, saying he is more than qualified for the position.
Responding to this, George said Tinubu “has stolen humongous amounts of money from Lagos State and continues to do so every month.”
He said, “Ogunlewe is talking nonsense, the best man to lead this country? Go and look at the archives to hear what this same Ogunlewe said about Tinubu not too long ago.
“I am shocked that Ogunlewe would be saying this in public.
“Ogunlewe knows that Tinubu can’t tender his school certificates because he doesn’t have them,” he said.
Recall several followers of Tinubu have been calling him out to run for the presidential position in 2023, adding that he was fit for the job.
