Nollywood actor, Yomi Fabiyi has led a protest to demand the release of the alleged child molester and colleague, Baba Ijesha.
Recall that the actor had revealed a few days ago that he was going to lead a protest over the continuous detention of Baba Ijesha at Panti Police station.
On Wednesday, May 12, 2021 he was seen with other people protesting with placards in their hands at the Panti Police Station.
The development was shared in series of videos via his Instagram page. The protesters demanded for the release of Baba Ijesha from detention pending the time the court would hear his case.
Fabiyi said everyone in the country deserves a fair trial, adding that the denial of bail for ny bailable offense is a violation of one’s human rights.
The actor, who has been sympathetic about Baba Ijesha’s case ever since he was arrested, described the alleged minor defiler’s continuous detention as “illegal”.
