Your exceptional academic prowess is a testimony of your father’s in-road in building outstanding achievers (professional journalists and academics) in Nigeria and abroad.
“It is heartwarming that you are not only re-inventing the legacy of your father but you are already surpassing it from the start. Keeping the flag at full mast is a worthy cause. The father as Kola Adesina started as a rural Village News reporter while his daughter started as Tola Adesina, Editorial Assistant with one of the big 5 global publishers in the UK. Talk of daughter surpassing Daddy from the start.
“In addition, the father started as student at Moshood Abiola Polytechnic to University of Lagos (UNILAG), Nigeria, before moving to London for his journalism and academic career. The magic wand is making Mass Communication Department, Crescent University, Abeokuta, Nigeria, which he heads, the cynosure of all eyes.
“Tola Adesina started bigger compared to her father – reputable international academic and media institutions in the UK.
“If Dr. Adesina can do it to other children who are making positive impact in Nigeria and abroad, I am not surprised that he achieved similar feat for his daughter.
“Congratulations, Hamidat for keeping the culture of excellence in journalism and academics in the Adesina family.”
