…says ‘we don’t even know where it’s stored now’
The National Food Drugs Administration and Control says it has yet to take delivery of the Madagascar herbal cure for COVID-19 recently imported into the country, two weeks after the Federal Government promised to send the consignment to the agency for a clinical trial.
NAFDAC Director General, Prof. Mojisola Adeyeye said on Tuesday that she was not aware of the location of the Madagascar herbal cure now in Nigeria.
Speaking on a Television Continental (TVC) programme, “Your View,” in Lagos, the NAFDAC boss said that the Madagascar drug had yet to be delivered to the agency for the mandatory clinical trial.
“As I speak, the drug (COVID Organic) is not yet in NAFDAC for clinical trial,” she said.
