The alleged child molestation case involving a popular Nollywood actor, Olanrewaju Omiyinka, better known as Baba Ijesha, has been adjourned again.
The Lagos State Special Offences Court, Ikeja adjourned the matter on Tuesday till August 11 and 12.
The court had on Monday, July 26, adjourned the matter till Tuesday (today).
However, the presiding judge, Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo, adjourned the matter again after Princess, the foster mother of the child allegedly abused by the actor, was cross-examined by the defendant’s counsel.
Baba Ijesha, Iyabo Ojo and their supporters were in court as Princess explained how she set up the CCTV that reportedly recorded the act.
Princess also said the minor on two occasions was harassed by a neighbour in December 2020.
Also, the court sent journalists out again like it did on Monday before playing the video clip, which was said to have captured Baba Ijesha while allegedly molesting a 14-year-old girl in the care of Princess.
