Popular Nigerian entertainer and activist, Charles Oputa, fondly called Charlyboy has dropped his latest song, Odudubariba.
He dropped this after playing a role in the recently released movie, ‘King of Boys.’
The song Odudubariba was inspired by the role he played in the Kemi Adetiba’s movie.
Charlyboy made this known on Tuesday saying, “My people, the eagle has landed. I been tell una say, I no dey finish.
“The long awaited Odudubariba music film video has dropped today.
“Watch out, it’s playing on all your TV channels.”
Recall that Charlyboy was one of the cast in the Netflix-adopted series ‘King of Boys’ directed by Kemi Adetiba. The songwriter played Odudbariba’s role.
‘Odudubariba’ is one of the elders on the round table who intends to take over the crown from Sola Sobowale and become ‘King of Boys.’
When asked why he accepted the role in King of Boys despite turning down other movie roles, Charlyboy said that he accepted the role because he’s a fan of Kemi Adetiba and it was an honor to be invited for such a role.
