The Retired Nigerian Navy Commodore, Kunle Olawunmi, who claimed that some officials in President Muhammadu Buhari’s government and other prominent persons were sponsors of terrorism affecting Nigeria has landed in the office of the Defence Intelligence Agency (DIA) in Abuja for questioning.
Olawunmi, during an interview recently aired on Channels Television, had revealed that some officials in Buhari’s government, serving senators and governors, were behind terrorism in the country.
This led to his invitation by the DIA for questioning.
It was gathered that the ex-Navy officer arrived Abuja this afternoon. Sources said he arrived in the company of lawyers and other important personalities to protect him from being abused.
