President Muhammadu Buhari has mourned with the family of Director-General of the National Institute of Policy and Strategic Studies, Kuru, Jos, Professor Habu Shuiabu Galadima, who died on Sunday.
In a statement in Abuja by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu, the President described the death of NIPSS director general as a big loss to the nation.
“Galadima was an eloquent and remarkable intellectual whose contributions to scholarship were vast and remarkable, and Nigeria will continue to remember him for these contributions,” the President said.
He also commended Galadima’s contribution to Nigerian education, describing him as an eloquent and remarkable intellectual whose contributions to scholarship were vast. “Nigeria will continue to remember him for these contributions,” the statement quoted Buhari as saying.
Galadima, 57, died Sunday morning after a brief illness.
