Abdulkareem calls out Pastor Adeboye in new song ‘Emilokan’, demands protest against Tinubu

Contentious singer and songwriter Eedris Turayo Abdulkareem, fondly called Eedris Abdulkareem, has taken a swipe at Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, in his new single ‘Emilokan.’

In one verse, the singer accuses Pastor Adeboye of hypocrisy, noting that he protested against bad governance during former President Goodluck Jonathan’s regime but now claims “Nigeria has spiritual problems” under President Tinubu.

Abdulkareem called on the clergyman to organize a one-million-man protest against Tinubu’s government, just as he vowed to do during Jonathan’s tenure, asserting that it is high time Pastor Adeboye spoke truth to power.

“Where is our daddy, Pastor Adeboye? During Goodlcuk Jonathan’s regime, your voice was so loud. You even vowed to stage a one-million-man march.

“Hunger and hardship under Tinubu government, you say Nigeria get spiritual problems,” he raps.

“Baba, we need your one million disciples to protest against President Tinubu’s government just the way you protested against President Jonathan. Daddy, abi legs don dey pain your disciples?”
