Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde has reportedly sacked the Chairman of the State Board of Internal Revenue, Aremo John Adeleke.
Also, the governor is said to have concluded plans to relieve members of the State Executive Councils and other political aides of their duties in readiness for the 2023 general election.
Aremo Adeleke, as reliably informed, was relieved of his duty on Monday. However, no official statement has been issued to that effect.
An inside source stated that OYBIR boss had since moved his belongings out of the office in respect to his removal from the office by the governor.
In another development, it was reliably gathered that the governor has concluded plans to dissolve his cabinet members in readiness for the 2023 general election.
Some of the council members had been accused of working for the opposition parties, even though some of them had publicly denied the allegation.
However, an inside source said Governor Makinde is no longer comfortable with the activities of some of the members, hence the decision to dissolve the cabinet and inject new blood that would work for the actualisation of his bid for second term in office.
