Nollywood actor, Yomi Fabiyi has released a new movie based on the ongoing sexual assault case that revolves around his colleague, Baba Ijesha and comedian Princess.
I’m the new movie, titled ‘Oko Iyabo’, Fabiyi describes Baba Ijesha as a victim of a setup that was orchestrated by Princess.
The characters in the movie bears the names of the individuals involved in the case, which includes actress, Iyabo Ojo, whom the story basically centers around.
Iyabo’s character in the movie is portrayed as a young child from a dysfunctional home.
Princess’s foster daughter is also portrayed as a young woman in a consenting sexual relationship with Lanre (Baba Ijesha).
The movie features Fabiyi, veteran actors, Adewale Elesho and Lola Idije.
The actor’s new movie didn’t come as a surprise as he had since promised to make a movie of Baba Ijesha’s ordeal and Iyabo Ojo’s involvement.
Both Ojo and Fabiyi had exchanged heated arguments online over the ongoing case where Fabiyi insisted that Princess set Baba Ijesha up.
Recall that Baba Ijesha was arraigned in court on Wednesday, June 16.
Yomi said the police have no evidence that the culprit defiled the young girl because the victim insisted that the actor did not defile her.
Fabiyi also called for the prosecution of the adults who set up CCTV records for the actor to be caught.
According to him, fighting for the right of the child means getting justice against all abuses and assaults done on the child.
