The Peoples Democratic Party Integrity Group, also known as the PDP-G5, on Monday met President Bola Ahmed Tinubu behind closed doors.
The group led by former Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike, has three other former governors, Samuel Ortom of Benue State, Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State, and incumbent Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde as its members.
The five members of the group are in the meeting which was still ongoing when this report was filed.
They arrived at the State House about 4:21 pm and proceeded straight to the President office.
Wike, who is believed to have played a prominent role in Tinubu’s emergence as President, has in the last one week visited the State House three times.
Don’t forget that Wike and his group worked against Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of their party, the PDP, in this year’s preaidential election held on February 25.
