Family members of the victims of the Abuja-Kaduna train attack has appeal to President Muhammadu Buhari to accept the demands of the bandits holding their relatives’ captives, in order to save them alive from the terrorists.
They made this appeal on Wednesday while protesting the continued incapacitation of their relatives.
This is coming as the terrorists recently vowed to kill the victims if the Federal Government fails to yield to their demands after seven days.
According to the relatives of the abductees, the terrorists who spoke to them are demanding the Federal Government to free their eight children being held in Adamawa State before they will release the 61 abducted train passengers.
The embittered relatives pleaded with Buhari to order for the immediate release of the eight children to the terrorists so as to secure the release of their loved ones.
The victims of the train attack have remained in the captivity of the terrorists for 59 days now.
Noting that bandits released videos of the victims in order to prove to them that their relatives are still alive, the relatives, who held a peaceful protest Wednesday morning, emphasised that the Federal Government should intensify efforts toward the rescue of the victims.
