Nigeria has recorded a second medal at the ongoing 2020 Tokyo Olympics Games.
This came as Blessing Oborududu on Tuesday won a silver medal in the women’s freestyle 68kg wrestling category.
It was certain she was going to win a medal after her Monday’s victory over Mongolia’s Battsetseg Soronzonbold, which secured her the final.
At the final match she won silver after American world champion, Stock Mensah Tamyra Marianna, beat her 4-1.
The 32-year-old is the second Nigeria to win a medal at the Tokyo games after Ese Brume had earlier in the day won bronze in long jump for the country.
