Following the looming second wave of coronavirus pandemic, Saudi Arabia has announced the suspension of all international passenger flights for one week.
The country also banned movement into the kingdom through land and seaports.
The official news agency, SPA while quoting an Interior Ministry official of the country, said the suspension may be expended if the situation persists.
The measures came as a precaution “until medical information about the nature of this virus becomes clear, and to protect the public health of citizens and expatriates and ensure their safety,” the report said.
Meanwhile, people returning from European countries or any country have been requested to proceed on self-isolate for two weeks and be tested for COVID-19.
