Popular Nigerian singer Paul Okoye, better known as Rudeboy, has expressed his displeasure with the way many people are campaigning for their candidates in the next general elections.
This is in response to comments made by his fellow musician, Olawale Olofooro, alias Brymo, who disqualified the Igbo tribe and its presidential candidate.
Okoye wrote “Mind what you are preaching… Elections will come and go. We all will move on …But you decided to be a tribal bigot because you think you are getting some attention by insulting a particular region of Nigeria and some people are praising you. As an artist, I’m only disappointed.”
Recall that Brymo stated that it is not yet time for an Igbo presidency while endorsing Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the All Progressive Congress (APC) presidential candidate on his official Twitter account.
In a subsequent series of tweets, the musician continued by stating that he is not apologetic for his remarks on the Igbo president.
On Friday, the singer tweeted “Dear Easterners, I’m not sorry.”
On Sunday, he again insulted Easterners, saying, “F*ck The Ndi Igbo!! To H*ll With It!!”
