Rangers Int’l are NPFL champions, clinch 8th title

In a momentous achievement, Rangers International FC have emerged the champions of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) for the eighth time, securing their title with one game remaining in the season.

Rangers became champions of NPFL after defeating Bendel Insurance 2:0 following goals scored by Kenechukwu A. in 33rd minute, and Nwobodo C. in 65th minute.

This victory adds to their illustrious history of triumphs, marking their dominance in Nigerian football with previous titles won in 1974, 1975, 1977, 1981, 1982, 1984, and most recently, 2016.

The Enugu-based team has demonstrated consistent excellence throughout the season, showing remarkable skill and determination. This latest title solidifies their position as one of Nigeria’s most successful and storied football clubs.
