The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has chided the Plateau State governor, Simon Lalong over the killings in the state.
It said the governor does not need the permission of the security agencies to stop the killings in his state.
In a statement by its spokesperson in the state, Emmanuel Go’or, the party said that “if the weekly harvest of dead bodies and invaded communities are the marks of Governor Lalong’s best, then he is never ready for governance.
“Even now, he is leaning on a tottering fence as Mr Governor is simply enamored by the glamour of his office and unhealthily distracted by chores outside the state in the name of chairmanship of Northern Governors’ Forum.”
PDP, however, advised Lalong to rise up to the task and save the lives of innocent citizens from killers in the state.
