Ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo’s name was missing, on Monday, from the list of “deserving Nigerians” President Muhammadu Buhari named some railway stations after.
Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, had on Monday announced that President Buhari had given approval that stations along the Lagos-Ibadan and the Itakpe-Ajaokuta-Warri corridors be named in honour of some of the nation’s leaders and other prominent Nigerians.
National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo are among those that stations were named after.
