Legal counsel of the 12 detained aides of Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, Pelumi Olajengbesi, has frowned at the continued detention of the aides by the Department of State Service (DSS) despite court judgement that granted them bail.
Olajengbesi, who was perturbed by the DSS’ deposition to the aides, said failure to release them in 48 hours would amount to him instituting contempt proceedings against the DSS and its Director.
He queried the DSS’s reason for detaining the aides despite the fact that they have been served with the court’s signed warrant of release.
Recall that the 12 aides have been in DSS detention after the operatives raided Igboho’s house on July 1st.
