Former President Goodluck Jonathan is reportedly on bed rest in his Abuja residence following an auto crash that claimed the lives of two of his aides.
A close aide to the Bayelsa-born former president, said his condition was stable but that medics advised him to have some bed rest while he is under medical observation.
But another aide said Jonathan was fine and okay.
As at press time, the former president was at his Abuja residence.
The identities of the two aides who died in the accident were still hazy.
The accident occurred when the ECOWAS Special Envoy was on his way from the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport to his residence in Abuja, it was gathered.
