Lucky Aiyedatiwa Campaign Organisation (LACO) Foot Soldiers, which is the best abbreviation or sobriquet as LACO-FS, is a body of indisputable destiny. It is an Independent Campaign Organisation cutting across all the 18 local government areas of Ondo State and even having members outside the state and in the Diaspora.
LACO-FS as ICG is designed to assist Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa to get elected as Governor of Ondo State come November 2024 when the governorship election is scheduled to take place. Recall that Aiyedatiwa became Governor on December 23, 2023, following the death of his boss, former Governor Rotimi Akeredolu.
LACO-FS was founded by Friends of Governor Ayedatiwa in both Nigeria and the Diaspora, experts who are top chieftains of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Our vision, shared by thousands of Ondo State indigenes, is to seize this moment that fate has thrust up a visionary, purposeful responsible leader in the person of Aiyedatiwa, to help him get the next mandate to work more for Ondo State.
The Governor, upon assumption of the position, created pleasant shock waves by clearing the backlog of salaries and embarking on several developmental projects.
MODUS OPERANDI
LACO-FS, for clarity purposes, should not be equated with thuggery or brigandage, especially with the use of the expression, ‘Foot Soldiers’. It is an idiomatic expression that indicates absolute loyalty and commitment to ensuring victory for our principal, Governor Aiyedatiwa.
We are visible in all the Units, Wards and invariably, Local Government areas in Ondo State. In each unit, there must be at least 500 Foot Soldiers; in each Ward, 2500, and each local government area, at least 20,000.
These Foot Soldiers, led by their respective Coordinators, are to mobilize support for Governor Aiyedatiwa and get all converts registered and fended for.
In the same vein, religious bodies such as churches, mosques, and traditional worship centres are not left out. They too will be similarly courted.
The journey has started in full throttle and we are highly optimistic of landing at the Promised Land, successfully; because in God We Trust.
