No fewer than 16 gospel artistes from different parts of Nigeria and across the country are in Bauchi for the second edition of ZamaR over the state of the nation.
ZamaR is an interdenominational musical concert for a night of ‘music, healing and His presence’.
The Chief Host and the Convener, Senior Pastor Michael Akor, on Friday, said that the concert which is an annual event is being organised for gospel artistes from different part of the country and outside Nigeria to deepen the collaboration in praise singing and unity.
Speaking shortly before the concert, Akor who addressed the press alongside the artistes said the Church, House on the Rock organised the praise singing to pray and seek for God’s intervention over the state of the nation.
“We have brought these great gospel artistes together from far and near to come and pray, sing and worship the Lord for heavenly intervention.
“In all of the things happening in our dear country today, we will be apprecaiting the Lord. We are in the North East region, people different impressions about this part of the country but want them to know that such impressions are not completely true,” he said.
The concert would be held at the Police Training School billed to commence 7pm on Friday to 7am on Saturday
One of the artistes, Ishaya George said that ZamaR has contributed hugely to his musical career and has connected him to the bigger stars.
Other ministering artistes are; Sunday Ali, Sam Zack, Gbenga Olusola, Femi Coker, Apostle Kingsley Ike, Godstime Okorie, Mac Frank from Ghana, Evelyn Ernest, Scriptures and Mysteries team.
