I’ll return to the stage, even if I have to crawl —Celine Dion

Popular Canadian singer Celine Dion has declared that she won’t let her battle with Stiff Person Syndrome prevent her from performing again.

In an interview with Hoda Kotb on the Today Show, the singer vowed to return to live performances, even if it means crawling to the stage and using her hands to communicate.

“I’m going to go back on stage, even if I have to crawl. Even if I have to talk with my hands, I will. I will,” she vowed.

The 56-year-old singer disclosed that she had been privately battling Stiff Person Syndrome for 17 years before publicly announcing it.

The mother of three who first shared her diagnosis in 2022, admitted that she had been dealing with symptoms since 2008.

Recall that recently, she described her condition as feeling like she’s “being strangled.”

Also, the amazing singer mentioned that she frequently experiences cramps and has even broken some ribs due to the syndrome.
