National Working Committee of the ruling All Progressives Congress says the ex parte order affirming the suspension of the party’s National Chairman, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje by a Kano State High Court cannot be enforced.
The Ganduje ward executive of the party also passed a vote of confidence in the chairman in Abuja on Wednesday, April 17 during a solidarity visit to the former governor of Kano State in his office at APC headquarters.
APC described the order restraining Ganduje from further parading himself as the chairman of the party as a nullity.
National Legal Adviser of the party, Prof. Abdulkarim Kana, told newsmen on Wednesday, that the Kano order is not enforceable, insisting that it was obtained by fraud.
Kana said the ward executives would petition the National Judicial Council to call the high court judge to order.
While dismissing the order, APC national chairman, Ganduje also told ward executives that he was not moved as those who purportedly suspended him were impostors.
