Peoples Democratic Party says the fate of aspirants for its governorship primaries in Edo and Ondo states will be determined by delegates.
PDP National Publicity Secretary, Kola Ologbodiyan, said this on Monday at a media briefing in Abuja.
He said that processes had been put in place to ensure that only the best aspirants emerge as the party’s candidates for the forthcoming governorship elections in the two states.
According to Ologbodiyan, “The PDP under the leadership of Prince Uche Secondus will ensure transparency, and that a candidate out of the eminently qualified aspirants, that is acceptable to the Edo people emerges.
“The PDP will be choosing our candidate for the Edo and Ondo governorship elections through indirect primary.”
