Nigeria Centre for Disease Control said the country recorded one additional death and 86 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday.
The centre gave this update on its official Facebook page on Monday morning.
The agency noted that the death toll in the country now stands at 2,906, confirming 212,713 total infection cases.
It said 204,379 COVID-19 patients have recovered and have been discharged in the country.
The data revealed that 86 new cases were reported from seven states, Kaduna State with 41 cases at the top of the chart followed by Lagos with 24 cases.
However the 24 cases recorded in Lagos were said to be backlog for November 6.
