An Abuja Federal High Court, on Tuesday, dismissed an application for bail filed by the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu.
In her ruling, Justice Binta Nyako, said Kanu’s application was an abuse of court process because it had been rejected earlier.
The IPOB leader was re-arraigned on a 15-count amended charge bearing on treasonable felony.
On April 8, Justice Nyako struck out eight of the 15-count charge.
The court struck out counts 6,7,9,10,11,12,13 and 14, but the defendant is to stand trial on counts 1,2,3,4,5,8 and 15.
