Bandits have reportedly set vehicles of the Nigeria Army ablaze in the early hours of Friday in Dansadau community of Zamfara State.
A village, Dansadau, of Maru Local Government of Zamfara, was under attack as daredevil bandits reportedly destroyed military armoured personal.
It was gathered that the community was invaded in the early hours of Friday, killing three persons while seven of the residents were abducted by the bandits
The attack came barely a day after bandits in the state shot down an Alfa Jet belonging to the Nigerian Air Force.
Flight Lieutenant Abayomi Dairo had narrowly escaped after the aircraft that was supposed to crush the bandits was brought down by the gunmen.
Similarly, Kurar Mota, a community in Bundudu in Zamfara was attacked, and 13 police officers and three civilians were killed there.
Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Shehu Mohammed, could not be reached till press time.
