Director General of the APC Governors’ Forum, Salihu Lukman, said governors elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress remain united in the quest for a solution to the various crises rocking the party.
Lukman said in a statement in Abuja on Monday that there was no truth in speculations that the governors were sharply divided.
The PGF DG stated, “In the context of the current challenges facing the party leadership, progressive governors are all working for the quick resolutions of the crisis.
“Although approaches and perspectives of each progressive governor may vary, they have been able to debate and reach a consensus on the problems affecting the party as contained in the resolutions of the emergency teleconference meeting of Saturday, June 13, 2020.
“The resolutions, which were made public include collectively working to ensure strengthening of a fair and democratic internal party mechanism for the selection of party candidates in all elections.”
