Popular Nigerian reality television show, Gulder Ultimate Search is returning to the television screen after a seven-year break.
The show which borders on the survival instincts of its contestants was among Nigerians’ favourite in the 2000s. It was birthed in 2004 and ran for 11 seasons before its pause in 2016.
The show, organised by the Nigerian Breweries (NBS) Plc, has produced some talented stars. Among its past winners include; Kunle Remi, winner of the 2010 edition; Dennis Okike winner of the season 8 edition; and Chris Okagbue, winner of season 10.
According to NB, this year’s theme of the show as returns to the Tv screen is “The Age of Craftsmanship”.
NB is calling for applications for the show. It said that interested participants must be between ages 21-35 and should submit their applications on September 1, 2021, and September 8, 2021.
Shortlisted applicants will undergo a regional selection process in Abuja and Enugu on September 13 and 14, while the selection will take place in Lagos on September 16 and 17, 2021.
The show will air on DStv and other local stations across the country. However, the host of the show is yet to be unveiled.
