Peter Obi, the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, and Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, the governor of Anambra state, met in Awka today(Thursday).
Obi and Soludo, who met at the Thanksgiving liturgy for Most Rev. Bishop Ezeokafor’s 70th birthday at St. Patrick Cathedral in Awka, were seen cuddling up while exchanging pleasantries.
Recall that Soludo had recently launched attacks against Obi, saying that his investment in the Anambra State government was practically worthless.
He also said that Obi was going to fail in his bid to become the next President of Nigeria.
Obi in his response to those attacks had said that as a trader, he did the little he can while serving as Anambra State governor, and advised Soludo to, as a professor, do better than he did.
