A former Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Nsima Ekere has been arrested by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over alleged N47 billion frauds.
Ekere, who allegedly diverted the funds through registered contractors of the NDDC, was arrested on Wednesday by the commission.
His arrest was confirmed to newsmen by the anti-graft agency’s spokesman, Wilson Uwajaren.
