Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, has kicked against recent demands for a rotational presidency, declaring it an outdated system.
Bello spoke at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Thursday while addressing State House Correspondents after a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari.
Bello also said that he would consider the various calls from Nigerians and run for presidency come 2023.
The Kogi governor said it’s imperative Nigerians to put a high premium on virtues such as competence and capacity when electing the next president.
