Supporters of Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, on Saturday staged a one-million march for him in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.
The Obi supporters who identify themselves as ‘Obidients’ staged the march under the aegis of Coalition for Peter Obi Presidency.
They kicked off their march from the popular Kuto market in the state capital to major streets in the area before terminating at the Panseke market.
A member of the group, Tolulope Philips told newsmen that the march was to create more awareness and drum support for a Peter Obi and Datti Ahmed presidency in Abeokuta.
According to him, Obi remains the best among other candidates for the job.
Nasarawa, Benue, Abuja, Rivers, Edo are among the states where Obi supporters have staged a similar march.
Similar marches have been held in other states including Benue, Rivers and Edo.
