SEUN SHOTUNDE, ABEOKUTA
Candidate of the Social Democratic Party for Ijebu Central Federal Constituency in Ogun State, Adeola Azeez, has urged the electorate, especially the youth and women not to vote for leaders without realistic plans.
Azeez stated this at the opening of her campaign office and 62nd birthday celebration in Ijebu-Ode.
She urged the electorate to consider voting for leaders imbued with empathy, in all elective posts, and who would accommodate them in governance and not turn blind eye to their plights.
The daughter of the Yoruba elder statesman, Pa Ayo Adebanjo, further advised the electorate to know and understand their candidates from the State House of Assembly to the President before voting them into office.
She, therefore, appealed to the electorate to collect their Permanent Voter Cards(PVCs) as it is the paramount thing that could shape the 2023 election.
Azeez charged people of her constituency, especially the youth and women to cast their votes for her because she comes from the respectful, reputable and respectable family of Adebanjo and won’t fail them if elected.
She said, “Any leader that is not empathetic, any leader that is not inclusive, any leader that does not take the youth and women as the bedrock of the society or have realistic plans for the people, forget it.
“People should go and collective their PVCs, it is the paramount thing that will shape the 2023 election. You cannot have register without collecting your PVCs and when you collect your PVCs you must study and know your candidate right from House of Assembly, to Senate, to your governor, and to your president, what do they have for you.”
