…denies raiding his residence
Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Sunday, denied raiding the home of the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
EFCC in a statement by its spokesman, Wilson Uwujaren debunked the report.
The anti-graft agency urged Nigerians to disregard reports making the rounds on social media, saying they’re fake news.
The statement clarified that its operatives neither raided Tinubu’s home at any time nor recovered humongous N400 billion.
EFCC said, “The Commission wishes to state that the EFCC did no such operation.
“The public is enjoined to disregard the report as fake news.”
