In Zurmi Local Government Area of Zamfara, troops of Operation Hadarin Daji accomplished a significant victory on Saturday, neutralizing seven terrorists, capturing two others, and destroying several of their camps.
The Director of Defence Media Operations, Maj.-Gen. Musa Danmadami, reported this on Sunday in Abuja. Danmadami stated that the troops encountered the bandits at Birnin Tsaba, Tsanu, Lamba, Gabas, Gidan Kaso, and Dumburum Forest in Zurmi Local Government Area, and recovered seven motorcycles, two empty AK 47 magazines, and one Baofeng radio.
The troops also arrested two terrorists in Shinkafi town of Shinkafi Local Government Area following the capture of a terrorist informant on April 21.
“Items recovered from the suspects include one motorcycle and three mobile phones.
“The military high command commends troops of Operation HADARIN DAJI and encourages the general public to avail troops with credible and timely information on criminal activities,” he said.
